Family‑run.
Decades of experience.
We are heritage conservation and restoration specialists. We are a family‑run construction firm with decades of hands‑on experience across the UK and overseas. Our background spans heritage conservation, traditional building methods, structural intervention and full‑scale renovation — but the thread running through all of it is constant: a deep technical understanding of how buildings are constructed, how they age, and how to repair and adapt them with integrity.
Pear Tree House Construction is based in Northamptonshire and operates across South Leicestershire and North Buckinghamshire. Every project we take on – whether a Grade I listed manor, a heritage barn conversion, or a traditionally styled new build – is delivered with the same standard of care.

We care deeply about how buildings are built, repaired and preserved.
Our approach is efficient but meticulous. We work quickly where appropriate, but never at the expense of accuracy, building behaviour or respect for the structure. Whether we’re carrying out a minor repair or a full restoration, every project receives the same level of technical attention and care.
Years of working on heritage buildings, barns, listed properties and period homes have shaped the way we operate today. Older structures demand a different mindset — one that understands the responsibility of working with historic fabric and the importance of making interventions that are sympathetic, durable and reversible where required. That respect guides everything we do, regardless of a building’s age or scale.
We are also highly resourceful in the way we work. Wherever possible, we retain and reuse original materials — from stone and timber to bricks, tiles and architectural details. Salvaging and recycling isn’t just environmentally responsible; it preserves the character, patina and continuity of the building. When new materials are needed, we source them carefully to ensure compatibility with the existing fabric.
Outside of work, we hold a genuine interest in architecture, materials, traditional methods and the stories behind buildings. This isn’t just a trade for us — it’s something we’ve lived and studied for decades, and that depth of understanding informs every decision we make on site.
We work closely with architectural practices and design teams who require a contractor that understands heritage sensitivity, planning conditions and the importance of material authenticity. We are experienced in working with architect specifications on listed and conservation properties, and we communicate directly with design teams throughout ever stage of delivery.
